Time has gotten away with us over the past few months- meaning there are SO MANY amazing sessions that we have done, and simply have not had the time to put together posts of the adorable babies and families we have been working with!
Miss Lina is now 5 months old… CRAZY!! Her session was back in January and she was an absolute dream to work with. She had the best big brother in the world, who was so excited to snuggle her and show her off.
Today we are featuring another family on the blog that we have watched grow and expand over the years, and were so excited to capture little Mr. Elliott’s addition to the family. He was very curious in his session, and not entirely sure that he wanted to sleep and miss all the action, but his adorable little face made the session worth it! Patience and all
We have worked with a small portion of the Leonard family for quite a few years- capturing wedding videos, children’s photos and Christmas photos over the years. When we were approached to do a large family session, we jumped at the idea. We knew that it would make for a fun evening, while capturing some beautiful photos for Grandma and Grandpa. Note to self: Hosting sessions during Tim Horton’s Smile Cookie campaign makes for some great cooperation and smiles!!
A huge thank you to the Orchard Home Farm in St George for allowing us to use your beautiful orchard for the photos!
And always a smile cookie to finish!!!
Thanks for spending the evening with us to capture some beautiful moments!
In the year 2016, I have worked with the Parton family a couple of times… first for their wedding in March, where we got to know them really well (I mean, a photographer does spend HOURS with you on one of the most emotional days of your life, it’s hard not to get to know one another) and then recently, we met up to capture the beautiful baby bump that Melyssa is ROCKING right now! Maternity sessions are so much more interesting where there’s a sibling involved- and although Little man E did not want to sit still for the session, we captured some beautiful memories of this time.
We are SO excited to hear the news about the newest addition, and to capture some newborn photos when s/he arrives (the anticipation is driving us crazy… boy or girl?)
Congratulations guys and thanks for having us along to capture this whirlwind, incredible year for you ❤
It’s hard to believe it has been one year since we first met this precious family! Time flies so quickly sometimes, it’s hard to believe.
Dominic was feeling a little out of sorts for his session, but still managed to rock his session (as usual). Do you remember this face? This has remained one of my favourite photos EVER.. he just looks so calm and peaceful in his little bow tie.
I am often asked if I think a baby looks the same or has changed a lot since their last sessions… in the case of Dominic, I feel that he looks EXACTLY the same.. the shape of his features, his amazing hair and cool boy personality.
Thank you for continuing to trust us to capture these moments in Dominic’s life. If has been a pleasure watching him grow the past year!
It has been almost 2 years since this adorable couple tied the knot, and had us capture their amazing wedding day!
We were very excited to hear the news that they were expecting their first baby, and were booked and ready for newborn photos… but sometimes, as we all know, things don’t always go exactly as planned, and life gets very crazy after a baby joins our lives. It was 5 months later that we heard from them again, asking us to capture some family photos now that Mathis was bigger and life had settled down a bit… we were ecstatic.
This little man is adorable, there’s no two ways about it! Those eyes… I think I mentioned how envious I was about his eyelashes about 5000 times during our session!
Congratulations on your growing family Crystal and Val, and thank you for having us along to capture the ride! ❤
Looking out the window, it FINALLY looks like winter has arrived in Waterloo Region. This winter has been a tricky one, especially for those families looking to have winter photos done… mother nature has been a bit less than cooperative!
Looking back into November, it’s unbelievable to look at the tree farm photos we had hosted at Benjamin Tree Farm. The days leading up to the sessions, we received countless emails “what happens if it doesn’t snow”, and we prepared just in case! However, we went out to look at the farm the day before the session, and snow slowly started to fall, completely enveloping the tree farm, creating an incredible winter wonderland! Just two days later, we were back to mud!!
Thank you to all the families who came out to brave the snow and cold for their Christmas photos! Enjoy today’s snow, go play outside and warm up to the comfort and love of your family.
