Watching this sweet little lady growing over the past year has been a lot of fun! For a little trip down memory lane, we first met Miss Madelyn when she was just 11 days old!
her big sister was SO excited to have a baby sister to love on and play with!
Fast forward a few months, and Miss Madelyn came out to see us again, with her Mama, for a breastfeeding and baby wearing mini session. Although she had grown so much, she still looked exactly the same! She was still just as curious about the camera as she was at her newborn and family sessions!
and now… here she is again, a whole one year old!! She was not feeling too well for her session, but still managed to rock it!
Happy Birthday Madelyn!
but when she was done… she was done 🙂
Thank you for trusting us to capture these beautiful memories over the past year.

Working in this business, it’s so much fun to watch families grow and to see the relationships develop and change overtime. This family was a big exception to that observation, because although we haven’t watched them grow as a family through our photography, the power of social media is such that we have been able to online.
Cintia and Mario went to our high school, and were one of those couples that were so adorable, dating throughout high school and carrying on into their adult years, getting married and starting a family. It’s been so fun to see that growth over the years, from young high school sweethearts into a family of 4. When Cintia contacted us about doing newborn photos when their newest addition was born, I was very excited! I love newborn sessions, and I love working with people from my childhood and teenage years, and seeing where their lives have taken them. Little Miss Eva made everyone wait, and took her time deciding to come meet everyone, but once she did, she had everyone wrapped around her little finger- Mommy, Daddy and especially her big brother Rui.
Thank you for trusting us to capture these moments in your life, it was such a pleasure working with her, and being able to catch up after all these years.
Presenting, Miss Eva… (secret tidbit- you can click on the photos to see them bigger!)
What do you get when you encounter a short time frame for photos, a couple moving hours away, rainy weather and a booked engagement session? Creativity!!
Knowing Daniel and Ellen, their hopes for something “different” in their engagement session, and a short time frame in which to accomplish the session before they were moving up to Ottawa (literally 2 days after the session!!), it was a lot of fun to come up with an indoor engagement session location. Given that Daniel is a writer and Ellen works in politics, the library seemed like a great alternative to the snowy winter scene we had been hoping for. Mother nature has a way of dictating things or changing plans, but this change in plans made for some incredible photos. It is hard to believe that a small community library could be such a beautiful option.
Congratulations on your engagement, and we can’t wait to capture the wedding in May. A huge thank you to the Hespeler Public Library for allowing us to use your beautiful library for the session!
