When we first learned about the birth of this little man, we weren’t sure if we were going to be able to get his session within the first 14 days, due to some health concerns. When he was born, he surprised everyone and was home much sooner than had been expected. We were able to get him in for his session right at the 2 week mark, and he was wonderful to work with.
His little grin was absolutely precious, and it was great to be able to have both grandmas come along for the session as well.
This adorable little family booked their maternity session a few months ago, aiming for a summer evening with beautiful weather… with all the rain we had leading up to the session, we had to reschedule due to the wonderful weather, however when we got to the session date, it was absolutely perfect! We went to Doon Mills Ruins in Kitchener for the session, as the family loved the idea of ruins, stonework, natural space and the river! Although miss Chloe didn’t want to be posed into the photos, we were able to sneak in some cute shots of her snuggling with mom and dad 🙂
I can’t wait to meet this new little one and capture some more beautiful photos for you.
Did you know that Straight Thru Films and Photography won the gold award in the 2014 Record Reader’s Choice Awards for favourite wedding videographer?? This beautiful couple was up on the blog a few weeks ago for their photography, now it’s time to showcase their wedding video trailer…
There are a few venues in our area that we look forward to shooting at, where we know that the surroundings, the atmosphere and the wedding will be beautiful, picture perfect. One of those locations is Nith Ridge Estates in Ayr. We have worked here on a few occasions, and have always had a wonderful experience.
When Matt and Shannon let us know that their wedding was being entirely hosted by Nith Ridge, we were very excited. We had a beautiful couple, wanting fun, relaxed and candid moments of their day… PERFECT! Add to that, the surprise arrival of the bride’s own horses at the location, and we can’t help but want to squeal in delight!!
Congratulations Matt and Shannon, thank you so much for having us there to capture your beautiful day, and all the love between you!
We first met Justin last summer during the wedding of his best man…. he and Kasey contacted us shortly after that wedding, to book us for their own wedding this summer. The first time we got together with both of them was for their smoking hot engagement session last fall… need a reminder?
When we got together just a couple weeks before the wedding, we knew it was going to be an incredible day. When their gorgeous wedding day finally came, it was likely an understatement! The day was absolutely beautiful, and Kasey and Justin were both ready to celebrate, have fun and enjoy their wedding day. The laughing, smiling, football throwing, pub eating memories were amazing. They were both so relaxed and happy, which always makes our job so easy!
Starting the day with their ceremony at the new Whistle Bear wedding chapel, then heading out to the Blair Grist Mill for photos, Kasey and Justin made sure to take a break in our busy afternoon to connect with their wedding party. We all made our way over the Fionn McCools for a cold drink, some finger foods and some fun photos on the bar! The reception took place at St George Banquet Hall, where the fun and party continued. It was so refreshing to see two people so very much in love, enjoying their special day!!
Congratulations Kasey and Justin, thank you so much for having me there to capture the moments! Enjoy your honeymoon, and your sneak peek!!
We should not have been at all surprised that this gorgeous little guy came from this awesome couple. He was such a dream in the studio, and so squishy and adorable!!! He slept throughout, had some milk occasionally and would continue sleeping. It is always such a great honour to capture a mom during pregnancy and then see the baby a few short weeks later!
Congratulations on your little man, and thank you so much for bringing him to see us into the studio for his session 🙂
There’s something so fun about a baby’s first birthday, and the cake smash session is one of those things! It’s always hilarious to see how they react to the cake, whether they dig in to eat, or they just want to destroy it and make as much of a mess as possible. Miss Rachel decided to go for a combination of the two, and made an amazing mess while enjoying the flavours on occasion.
